Bill's Bakkegård - Britain's Hilliest Backyard Ultra
On Saturday 26 September, from sunrise to sunset, Britain's Hilliest Backyard Ultra will take place on the Malvern Hills. The 4.17 mile (6.7 km) loop will start from Rosebank Gardens in the center of Malvern, climb its way up to St. Ann's Well, snake its way around North Hill, duck behind Sugarloaf, before descending again to the starting point. Runners who manage to complete all twelve loops will have covered 50 miles (80 km), and ascended (and descended) some 12,000 feet (3,600 meters). The inaugural version of Bill's Bakkegård will be limited to fifteen runners.
