Additional Rules

• No littering of non-biodegradable material
• No cutting of switchbacks
• Close any and all livestock gates behind you
• Anyone withdrawing from the race must pass a message to the race director
• If two runners end up with the same number of yards, they will share the championship

Please be advised that the weather on the elavated section on the far/western side of the course can be very different from that at the starting corral. Count on strong gusts of wind and possible rain.

The course is run on a mixture of tarmac, grass, gravel, wooded trails and exposed rocky trails. In dry conditions, it can be run in road shoes, but in wet conditions it is advisable to wear trail shoes with a good grip on wet rocks.
